How to turn a Function into a Derivative.
Here are the given functions:
4
4x
4x^2
Here are the general rules:
Lets say the function is 4x^2, and we would want to transform that function into a derivative. We would subtract any given exponent of a function by one, and multiply the number before the variable by that original exponent.
Therefore, the function 4x^2 would turn into a derivative. The derivative of that function would be 8x.
Here are the solutions to the given funtions:
Function Derivative
4 0
4x 4
4x^2 8x
